Once released it will be available for purchase on the app store of both platforms
When will it be available?
An early access training tool version is targeted for a soft release in 2023
This early access version will include training modes for dinking, drop shots, serving, and slams. As well as a completely configurable ball machine
A more complete release including multiplayer and singleplayer matches is targeted for release later in 2023 or 2024
Why wouldn’t you just play Pickleball in real life?
Pickleball Pro VR is meant to supplement real life Pickleball and provides a number of benefits such as not needing to chase balls, access to players across the world instead of a limited to local pool, and a variety of computerized training tools such as a hyper configurable ball machine for rapid shot practice repetitions
Do you need a lot of space to play?
There will be thumbstick based movement so that training is possible from a small standing area in an apartment. However the larger the area even up to the size of a court the more of a realistic experience you will be able to have
How realistic will it be?
Realism is the ultimate focus, like Eleven Table Tennis, and using our proprietary racket sport engine will enable imparting spin including the magnus air forces resulting in shot curving as well as bounce direction effects from taking spinning ball friction into account.
For ultimate realism and immersion there will be an optional and highly recommended Pickleball paddle adapter for sale to give the exact feeling of holding a paddle
Can I play with distant friends?
There will be multiplayer support in a later release to enable the play with friends and new players across the world. So like Eleven Table Tennis it will make a great way to connect with friends and family across sates or countries
